THE REALITY
Business Challenges
Although the client had already standardized OTM for transportation planning and execution, several of its critical workflows still depended on manual work across disconnected systems, limiting visibility and slowing execution.
Manual compliance checks
Every trip required manual compliance checks on the government vehicle compliance portal (mParivahan), adding 15 minutes per shipment before execution could begin.

WHAT WE BUILT
The ITOrizon Solution
The client partnered with ITOrizon to integrate Oracle Transportation Management with the compliance, visibility, booking, and terminal systems already running across its transportation network. No replacements: each system was connected directly into OTM so planners could work from one screen, with current information.
ITOrizon worked as an extension of the client’s transportation and IT teams, mapping how planners, drivers, and terminal operations worked together before building each integration around that reality.
Compliance + Live Vehicle Tracking
When a planner assigns a vehicle, OTM queries the government compliance portal (mParivahan) via FleetX and returns a YES/NO compliance flag automatically. A failed check triggers reassignment and revalidation, entirely within OTM. Live vehicle location and shipment milestones surface through FleetX in the same workstream.
Data flow — Direction: one-way into OTM
Driver Execution in Real Time
Driver assignments, status changes, and trip milestones sync automatically into OTM. Planners see execution in real time and catch delays before they reach the customer.
Data flow — Direction: one-way into OTM
Bookings Without Re-Entry
Booking data pushes into OTM on creation and update. Manual re-entry and reconciliation risk eliminated.

Terminal & Yard Events, Two-Way
Container movements, gate events, and terminal milestones exchange automatically between systems. Planners see terminal events while there’s still time to act.
