Warehousing, Asset Maintenance and Oracle IoT Cloud Implementation

ITOrizon brought in ‘Condition-Based’, ‘Predictive’ and ‘Prescriptive’ maintenance strategies into the operational ecosystem thru’ Oracle IoT on top of the current ‘Corrective’ and ‘Preventive’ maintenance strategies.

Oracle IoT Cloud Asset Monitoring was implemented to monitor the condition of the vehicles & machineries across all key maintenance-based attributes be it mass air flow, vibration of key components indicating problems proactively, oil level for preventive maintenance, oil pressure, coolant level, oil viscosity, brake temperature etc.

Utilized Oracle IoT Predictive Maintenance which use sensor data from connected device to help the client monitor, reduce unplanned downtime cost and understand the usage of equipment.

Automation was introduced to sync Maintenance Cloud with the IoT Asset Monitoring application, creating assets in IoT AM for monitoring purposes. Locations defined in Maintenance Cloud were seamlessly transferred to the IoT AM application.

We connected sensors (IoT devices) with various assets, capturing their motion as attribute values. Rules were defined in the IoT AM application for different assets, triggering anomalies, warnings, or incidents based on sensor data. This information was used to create automated Maintenance Work Orders, ensuring prompt maintenance for faulty or underperforming assets.

Additionally, we synchronized the maintenance process with Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud. Customized dashboards were created to monitor asset utilization and efficiency, providing the client with comprehensive insights into their operations.
