Background
This client is one of the leading producers, manufacturers, and distributors of fresh dairy, fresh juice, and long shelf-life milk and juice products. This client required a solution that would ideally monitor all the maintenance processes, improve visibility to the availability, operating condition and status of manufacturing, utility and mobile assets.
Business Challenge:
The customer had implemented the Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud Modules already. However, they did not have the Maintenance Cloud module. All the details about their maintenance processes were maintained with pen and paper. Manual maintenance entries are prone to human errors and missed maintenance schedules. This puts the customer company at risk of data loss and maintaining the business critical assets in a timely manner is at risk as well.
Correcting errors in the database is time-consuming and increases administration and maintenance costs. A company runs the risk of not meeting the demand from its customers if their important business assets are not maintained and hinders the production and procurement of their dairy products. This could have a negative effect on supply and on customer satisfaction.
The client decided to rely on innovative cloud solutions from Oracle and Gartner Recognized firm ITOrizon to help the client maintain all its business-critical assets.
