Role Overview:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling
ITOrizon’s cloud-native PaaS. You will design and implement backend services that are
highly performant, secure, resilient, and scalable, working closely with architects and
frontend engineers to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the Low Code / No Code PaaS.
- Implement high-performance, secure, and resilient microservices architectures.
Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Optimize backend systems for scalability, distributed caching, and OLTP performance.
- Work with data transformation, ETL pipelines, and integration frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
- Deploy and manage backend services on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance backend systems for reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Programming Languages: Java, Node.js, Python, GoLang, Scala
- Frameworks & Tools: JBPM, Apache Camel
- Databases: NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.), PostgreSQL, OLTP systems
- Caching & Performance: Redis, Distributed Caching
- Data Engineering: Data Transformation, ETL tools
- Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure (hands-on expertise required)
- Engineering Practices: Strong knowledge of code review processes, clean coding standards, and design patterns
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified Developer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Security-related certification (e.g., CCSP, CISSP) is a plus
Good to have:
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies: AIML, LLMs, Vector Databases, RAG, MCP
- Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

- 7–12 years of experience in backend engineering for enterprise-grade cloud PaaS/SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record in building scalable, secure, and resilient backend systems.
- Hands-on technologist with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
