Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Cloud WMS Manager / Director with strong expertise in design and implementation using Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud. The role requires deep functional knowledge, consulting capability, client engagement experience, and strong ownership across implementation, support, enhancement, and enterprise integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be capable of leading both solution delivery and strategic customer engagements across global implementations.
Solution Architecture
- Act as Solution Architect for Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud engagements, defining scalable and future-ready warehouse solution designs.
- Lead end-to-end solution blueprinting covering warehouse operations, integration landscape, data flow, exception handling, and process governance.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend standard product capabilities, extensions, and best practice solution models.
- Define architecture for multi-site deployments, enterprise integrations, and warehouse process harmonization.
- Provide technical and functional design guidance to project teams during implementation and support phases.
Solution Delivery
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud across client programs.
- Conduct requirement discovery workshops and translate business needs into scalable warehouse solutions.
- Own solution design, configuration strategy, SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live execution.
- Drive fit-gap discussions and recommend standard product adoption aligned to business goals.
Support & Enhancements
- Lead production support and stabilization for live warehouse environments.
- Manage critical incident resolution, defect prioritization, root cause analysis, and SLA adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.
- Own enhancement roadmap based on business priorities.
ERP & System Integration - Lead integration design between Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud and enterprise systems including Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP ERP, and middleware platforms.
- Manage order flow, inventory sync, ASN, shipment confirmation, and master data interfaces.
- Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, web services, XML, EDI, and event-based integrations.
Client Engagement
- Engage directly with client leadership teams on solution strategy and execution planning.
- Present delivery status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support solution consulting during pre-sales discussions and client workshops.
Practice Development & Internal Capability Building
- Build and strengthen the internal Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud practice by developing delivery capability, reusable accelerators, and solution assets.
- Lead internal training programs for consultants across functional, techno-functional, and integration areas.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants through structured capability development plans.
- Establish internal certification roadmaps and encourage product competency across teams.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on implementation learnings, solution patterns, and industry best practices.
- Support hiring strategy by evaluating talent and identifying capability gaps within the practice.
- Create a strong succession pipeline for future leads, architects, and solution owners.
- Drive practice maturity through standardized delivery frameworks, templates, and governance models.
- Collaborate with leadership to expand service offerings in warehouse transformation and adjacent supply chain solutions.
- Contribute to pre-sales assets, solution demos, and thought leadership initiatives to
strengthen market positioning.
Leadership
- Lead onsite and offshore consulting teams.
- Mentor consultants and build internal delivery capability.
- Drive delivery governance, utilization, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- 5+ years overall experience in supply chain execution systems
- Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud
- Proven experience in multiple end-to-end implementations
- Strong support and enhancement delivery experience
- Deep warehouse process knowledge: receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting
- Experience in ERP integration
- Strong client-facing consulting capability
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to automation systems and warehouse devices
- RF screen configuration and label setup
- Knowledge of parcel integration and carrier systems
- Experience working in consulting services organizations
- Exposure to global delivery models
