Role Overview:
ITOrizon is looking for a detail-oriented Junior WMi Application Support Analyst to support testing, troubleshooting, and basic configuration activities for the Manhattan WMi (Warehouse Management for iSeries) platform.
This role involves navigating application interfaces, validating system functionality through testing, performing SQL queries for data validation, and assisting with issue analysis. The ideal candidate will have exposure to WMS applications, testing methodologies, and database validation techniques.
This position is suitable for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in application support. QA testing, or warehouse management systems.
- Perform manual testing of WMS/WMi applications across multiple functional modules.
- Validate application workflows by navigating system screens, forms, and business processes.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests for new releases and system updates.
- Use SQL queries to validate application data, transactions, and system outputs.
- Assist in troubleshooting application issues and support root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with development and technical teams to resolve defects and system issues.
- Document test cases, defect reports, and system documentation.
- Support application configuration and validation activities as needed.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and quality assurance practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in application support, QA testing, or WMS testing.
- Exposure to Manhattan WMi / Warehouse Management Systems.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and queries.
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to RPGLE programming (optional).
- Familiarity with IBM iSeries environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
